FAQs

  • Creative Grounds is versatile and can host a variety of events including celebratory events, networking events, dinner parties, corporate events, art workshops, and more.

  • Our flat rate for private event rental is $100 per hour.

    4-hour minimum.

    Your booking request MUST include time for setup and cleanup.

  • Earlier start time will be assessed on a case by case basis and at the rate of $200 per hour. An at cost catering menu is available upon request. Please email info@creativegroundsdc.om.

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. All payments will be processed through Square. The remaining balance is due one week before the event. We accept all major credit cards, and bank transfers.

  • No, we do not have a kitchen. But you will have access to a refrigerator and prep area should you require it.

    We can work with your caterer and/or event planner.

  • Yes, we provide 30 chairs that run along the center of the venue, two farmhouse tables, 3 bar height tables and 6 stools, 2 low coffee tables situated in front of 2 couches. On the lower level, we have have 5 desk height tables and 20 stools.

  • Our venue can comfortably accommodate up to 42 guests, seated. Maximum capacity is 62.

  • We offer a coffee and pastry service. You can also bring your own beverages, but additional fees apply.

    Pricing information for supplying your own beverages below:

    Per Bottle Fee:

    $15 per bottle of wine/champagne and $20 per bottle of spirits.

    Per Guest Fee:

    $7 per guest. This covers additional services and ensures you can scale the cost based on the number of attendees.

  • Yes, we encourage potential clients to tour our venue. Please contact us tat info@creativegroundsdc.com to schedule a tour.

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event will forfeit the deposit.

  • There is an outdoor ramp leading to the patio space. A small step is located at the entrance of the building. There are 2 bathrooms on site, one that is ADA compliant.

  • Parking is zoned, so we encourage your guests to arrive early to look for parking, use car-sharing and/or public transport.

  • Yes, you can hire live entertainment such as a DJ, musician, or live art demonstration. We can help coordinate these services for you. Music is permitted however no amplified sound; a simple Bose (or equivalent) speaker is sufficient.

  • Yes, an on-site event coordinator will be available to assist with setup, coordination, and any needs during the event.
